Thursday February 28, 2013 - News just in indicates that Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Ferdinand Waititu has launched his manifesto at Hotel Panafric, Nairobi.

In a coloured event attended by Jubilee Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto ,Waititu who is also the immediate former  Embakasi MP, promised to promote job creation, improve education, infrastructure and reduce insecurity in the metropolitan city.

Others who attended the event are immediate former MPs Mike Mbuvi Sonko and Rachael Shebesh who were booed and heckled by Waititu’s supporters for ditching him yesterday.

It took the intervention of the DPM Uhuru to calm the infuriated crowd who threatened to give the two a beating for dumping Waititu in the hour of need.

On Wednesday Sonko and Shebesh ditched Waititu in favour of Jimnah Mbaru, claiming that Waititu was campaigning for ODM’s Bishop Margaret Wanjiru for Nairobi senate seat.
Meanwhile, Sonko, Shebesh and Waititu who are all members of The National Alliance (TNA) party, have pledged to work together in the forthcoming general election.

They said they will ensure that the TNA party scoops the Governor, Senate and Nairobi Women representative seat on March 4th.
