One presidential candidate is really struggling financially. Some hotels and airlines some have blacklisted him. The aspirant expects those who invite him to functions to pay for his accommodation and flights as well as give him an allowance. In one instance, he harassed a government agency official over a Sh20,000 payment. Some of the aspirant's staff including his PA have resigned.

Hassan Omar, the former Kenya National Human Rights Commission commissioner, is a marked man. Some of the people adversely mentioned in the KNHCR report published when Omar was a commissioner are unhappy that he people with integrity issues barred from contesting office. A former Naivasha MP wants him to shut up because "he did not handle post-election violence matters well".

Was it pure coincidence or was it planned that students of Kimathi University College went on the rampage on the day Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi toured Nyeri town? While some bloggers claim that the events that unfolded were well planned, the DPM's spokesman Kibisu Kabatesi holds the contrary view. He told Corridors yesterday that Mudavadi was not attacked but addressed two meetings in the town before he left.
