  1. Gosh, what happened? Something is not right with Hon Kabogo. Did she mention of how he is ruining our country while drunk? I know Kipsigis ladies can tell you off on your face.

  2. I wish the nation media can let people comment anonymously like this blog because this will give kenyans who fear about their lives some space to shed some light.

The story of Mercy keino is shocking.

I was at the funeral and i have never been to such a sad funeral. You could have seen the helpless parents going to kneel before pastor Kesis for the last prayer before the burial of their daughter. It was really painful.May God help this family. Then the Fiancee.. oh My God Help Ronny .(What really made me shed tears in the funeral of some chick i did not know is when Mr. Keino told Ronny how he really wanted to be his father in-law and how in future he will be willing to attend his wedding. It was absolute painful to see Rony's Father breaking into tears at this point. Why on earth can some people cause such anguish?

Before we go for Hon. Kabogo we have a very close relative (her auntie) who invited mercy into this mess of a party. Could she have known the end before the beginning? Where is she? Mercy's father talked about being careful of not only enemies but those we call relatives.Could this auntie have been the mastermind of all this anguish?

I am not a detective but let me highlight some consisted things about mercy's story
    1) Mercy was present in the party in westlands.
    2) Mercy was invited to this party by Her auntie.
    3) Mercy refused to take some drinks with bear
    4) Mercy became irritable and smashed glases
    5) Mercy ran out but was followed by people presumed to be kabogos body guards
    6) Mercy was returned back into the party by force
    7) mercy ran out for the second time (some say she was slapped at the gate but a university student says kabogos body guards were seen running for her)

All this time her auntie was in the party. this is the person mercy's mother trusted for her daughters safety. I believe this is the woman who is supposed to be put into tusk of explaining exactly what happened to mercy. If she is freely walking in the streets of Nairobi then i doubt the competency of our CIDs.

Kenya is watching. God is watching. Remember "God does not require investigations to dispense his Justice" (Pastor Kesis)

  4. A SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS. THERE IS NOTHING AS PAINFUL AS LOSING SOM1.

THE WORST THING IS THAT U WILL FIND THAT SUCH A CASE WILL BE LEFT PENDING/DRAGGED AND AT THE END THEY WILL SAY THAT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE,AND THE GUILTY ONES WILL WALK SCOT FREE.

    IS IT REALLY FAIR!!

  7. I really feel sad about the loss of a promising , beautiful young life. but i really need to be educated. what is a private party? what was being celebtated at the party? why do you need beautiful university girls to attend such parties? where was Mrs Kabogo? Did she attend the party? Whats up Chiles? how do you end up at such a sleazy gathering? watch out, life is precious!

    ReplyDelete
  8. So painful that is beyond consolation.Felt the effect of it though not my daughter and pray to God that whoever did this to the young lady be brought to justice. No man can afford to bear the kind of agony that we are going through as Kenyans for the girl was to be helpful to all Kenyans regardless of the tribe sex, race or age.But let us leave it all to our God.

    ReplyDelete
  9. We all feel terribly sad about the demise of such a young and promising girl. But perhaps what is even more disturbing are the circumstances under which Mercy died. A party gone awry, an upset girl trying to free,a bunch of muscle men chasing her and then death in the night.

Speculations, rumours and then mystery. What was this party all about? What was the gathering celebrating? Why was one not free to leave at own pleasure? Was this a secretive gathering where participants are not free to choose what to do and what not to do? From Samuel Wanjiru and now to Mercy, what in God's name are cctv cameras for?

Some of the attendees are high profile persons - most certainly with official security details.Where are the answers to the above simple questions. God bless Kenya, friends and relatives of mercy!

  10. Friends i am following this story with a keen interest. It has just emerged that Mercy had the capacity to take alcohol, Not only alcohol but she could even smoke some bhag. This has been highlighted to me by a very close associate who knew mercy's character well. I have even decided to do a background check in Mercy's facebook profile page and what the profile picture which a friend has commented that he wished she had deleted it is talking about a certain character. This mercy close associate alleges that she and the boyfriend used to take some alcohol.

The issue that mercy refused to take alcohol is now disputable. and the main question is whether what the heavily build Man was pouring in their glasses was really alcohol or something else.

What if this was some sort of a cult with an oathing ceremony to attend inform of a party?

Can it be what looked like wine was actually human blood that mercy refused to take?

that probably could have led to breaking of glasses and a scuffle ensued?

Could the refusing of taking a secret oath been seen as an act of betrayal and a potential leakage of the groups secrets?

Could that have caused mercy's death?

Its common knowledge alcohol is part of secular parties?

Who will kill someone because they have refused to be served a drink that is not their preference?

Who has seen a postgraduate student especially of Journalism behaving in a petty way like throwing glasses because somebody is forcing them to take alcohol?

Somebody needs to tell us the truth.

  26. The first time I read this story and saw Mercy's picture in the newspaper I was really heart broken. I was thinking to myself, 'damn these drug dealers.... they can kill anyone they wish with impunity and there is nothing anybody can do about it........' But as the story continues unfolding am left wondering what the truth really is. Could this have been one of the sex orgies that many campus girls are know to attend? Could it be that Mercy's family and her boyfriend did not really know her that well??? Could she have actually been crashed by a car on the busy Waiyaki way? I am really eager to see how this goes. But then again, knowing the Kenyan police........ I don't have much hope. Look at the way they treated Wanjiru's case. They were totally convinced that someone can fall from a balcony from 1st floor and die instantly! And the judge and police closed the case on these grounds and even refused his mother's appeal. Wow!!! God help Kenya.

MR.KABOGO IS BELIVED TO HAVE BEEN THE MAJOR CAUSE TO THIS MISCERY, HE MUST HAD CHOSEN THIS YOUNG BEAUTIFUL LADY FOR EITHER SEX, OR TO ENROLL HER INTO THE CULT.
LET HIM TELL KENYANS THE TRUTH, WHICH IS WHICH? AND WHAT WUD BE THAT BIG TO CAUSE DEATH??

KENYA POLICE ARE IN DEEP SLEEP!!! WHAT ARE YOU LACKING? ARE'NT YOU EDUCATED? COME ON WAKE UP!!

THIS MUST COME TO THE LIGHT ONE DAY. RIP MERCY

i do respect everyones' opinion and feelings expressed earlier and later too.my heartfelt condolense to her family,(would have been)husband and friends.I will address some fundamental issues too:its a sad tragedy that should not have happened but it has....but sadly happened.we must address the bad and good that may come from it.the same tragedy must be avoided.how? 1.be certain of where and whom you are going to party at and with 2.its best you tex n then call someone to say a)where b)who is in attendance 3.learn to at times 'pass' an invite 4.let your party goers know when you get home. my wife was once drugged/drink spiked and it was 24hrs of agony for me and kids....of not been able to know where to start.ladies and gentleman and more so parents pls encourage a two way communication in a family so that we can be opened and truthfully.....do you know the sickening part for the folks?as a parent you had a belief or was made to believe something about your son/girl and suddenly you beat yourself asking 'WHAT IF SHE/HE WAS ....ACTUALLY...A...?and i didnt know? as I said before we have lost Mercy but another Mercy/Timothy/Ashley must NOT be lost again!!

    something was going down....

  38. (source of the info seeks anonymity)
    The Party.
It is suspected that the party was a mock or sham "birthday party" for a Man (a suspected drug dealer) who with his fellow friends (also arms & drug dealers) were looking to have a good time (with young and beautiful girls who were here looking to have a taste of the luxury high-life and status which is a new and dangerous trend with women of early 20's in Kenya). The men were said to be enjoying soft drinks like redbull and burn and buying the women alcohol in large amounts. (Why? Isn't it a birthday party) It has also been said that the women and men were not mingling together at the "birthday party" but instead were sitted separately but within the same premises. (Again Why?)

    ReplyDelete
  39. continued from above...It is said that this men were also together that night to discuss business and also look for a way to stop the on-going onslaught by the media on suspected drug barons i.e. haron mwau and there associates. They were formulating a way to get the media radar of there back possibly by bribing their insiders in the various media houses & police departments and how to get rid of the snitches within there organization. Well the plans laid out that night have probably worked out now since kenyan media houses have gone totally gone silent on any progress being done in finding out the who the drug barons are, the mercy keino death, and the mock shotting of mwau's car etc. It is also belived that various drug barons and agents have flown out to there hideout country (countries that Kenyans in drugtrade live in used as there transit bases of operation to transfer the drugs from the origin to the need market i.e. Kenya. If you want to know which countries this are refer to recent drug route maps noting the countries that lay inbetween the route paths like Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands etc.)This maps can be found in recent newspapers on drug trade.

  40. continued from above...The Final Hours
Some of the women at the party knew the activities and after-party intentions of the men and as time went by the other invitee women who had no clue about the activities and motives of the men present started to get uneasy about the strange behavior of the men and the eerie mood at the party. This women started to seek more information about the personalities and activities of the men who were present from the women who knew them and as they indulged more into drinking alcohol some loosed up and spilled the beans and then thing change for worse.
Mercy Keino being the trained Journalist she was couldn't hear any of it and she started to mock the men, promising to tell the whole world about there activities. The alcohol only compounded the problem since it removed any inhibitions that would have prevented her from saying a word until she left the party.

    ReplyDelete
  41. continued form above...The men
The men were freaked-out by her behaviour, they then decided to put in a drug into her alcoholic drink possibly to ensure that she blacked-out and would have forgotten everything by morning. But it is suspected that some of the men were not very comfortable with the idea and decided that a much more final method was to be employed and consultations had to be made with the Bigger drug baron (you know who) to decide on the way forward because the thought of Mercy Keino making a press statement about there activities would only compound the already existing problem that they were trying to solve & eliminate in the first place. So...before the arrival of "you know who" to the venue of meeting (it was not a party), Mercy was already experiencing the effects of the drug used to spike her drink and she became overly perturbed by the effects which were unusual. She knew she had not had so mush alcohol, and wondered why she was feeling so sickly; she now wanted to leave with or without her aunt. The other women were now getting worried & scared of how the men were reacting to Mercy's pleas to leave. But the women who knew the true nature of the men sort to silence them telling them that if they continued to behave as they did there live would be in danger just as Mercy's live was. Mercy was walking on a thin rope for her life was now clearly in danger she started breaking elements and later ran off to the toilet to expel the alcohol that was in her system to see if she would feel better. After that she ran out of the gate but was met by "you know who" who was now gaining entry to the premises. his bodyguard ran after her....
Mercy was last seen alive been forced into the now known Mercedes Benz together with another young women from the party. The supposed destination was to another party at one of the men's house's near westlands.
The other women are lucky to be alive.

    ReplyDelete
  42. continued from above...I hope the media was more independent, courageous with information to tell Kenyans what really transpired on that night...for the greater good of this country.Billions of shilling have enter the economy that is largely unaccounted. This monies are coming in greatly from drug sales and bankings of the pirate money from somalia (another story that went under after mediahouses got to scared to tell Kenyans more). This unaccounted for money which was discovered last year by the Central Bank of Kenya is what is resulting in high inflation rate now standing at 14.43%. If you did economics you would know what happens when there is more money in the economy (money supply).

Do we really need to lose another life over the irresponsibility of administrative bodies like the police or the unprofessionalism of journalists or our ability as Kenyans to forget to seek the truth and push for change.

Mercy Keino, u were a brave girl,a brave journalist and you did not die in vain. We will ensure you go in peace by seeking the truth because the truth will set you free
